Installation Instructions: - Ensure the main gas line valve is closed before installation. - Remove any grit, dirt, or foreign material from the gas supply line. - Seal all joints with gas-rated Teflon tape. - Attach the gas valve to the threaded gas supply pipe while ensuring it is closed. - Perform a 2 PSI air pressure test to check for leaks. Apply soapy water to detect any leakage. Repeat the test after turning on the main gas supply. - Avoid using excessive torque during installation.
