The stem assembly cartridge includes 2 O-rings and has an overall length of 7-5/8" from one end of the cartridge to the other end of the stem. To ensure accuracy, remove the current stem from the sillcock and measure the new stem from end to end before installation.
A helpful installation tip is to tap the cartridge with a hammer if it appears too large to fit into the sillcock body. This will help remove any burrs that may be present where the two parts of the body connect, allowing for a proper fit. Please note that this particular stem is not compatible with T-550 sillcocks manufactured after 2007.
